This proposal compares Vancouver’s cartography, its cultural diversity, and the metro system's history and structure with the viral way information flows through the internet. Using a data map of the immigration clusters in Metro Vancouver I created a colorful visualization of the areas where immigrants are settled in the city.

Focussed on the Eastern Asia, Southern Asia, and European populations in the city, all three represented by green, red, and blue colors respectively, the project aimed to use the Sky-Train’s metro stations from these demographic enclaves to show a viral, physical representation of the flow of movement of people through the city and their destinations. Removable adhesive vinyl dot stickers, with the color representing each station, would have been given to commuters and asked to place along the way as they traveled. This would have created an on-site mesh of dots showing the cross-pollination between communities.
